Is there any way to get after him for the other end of the spectrum--abuse of elderly? Working grandfathers 20 hours days in Texas and then stripping their families away is just wrong. Of course, the elderly are of age whereas children aren't, but I don't like seeing what has happened to some of the elderly.

biggrin.gif Lara- I love your sense of humor. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I am a little amazed they are able to prosecute the same crime two times -once in each state, but they are.

sad.gif I wonder if all the crap has stopped happening with Gummer Jeffs in the slammer, or is someone still doing the same stuff? like anybody been booted out lately?

Yeah, what's the word on the street? (Why did that last sentence give me shivers of revulsion?) Is anyone stepping up to fill the power vacuum?

The age of consent issue is the clincher. Fourteen year olds can't consent to incestuous marriages with adult men. The law expects the elderly to tell Warren to f*ck off.

Well, he pleaded not guilty.

It will be interesting to see how this trail goes.

I honestly didn't expect a guilty verdict to the last one. There just didn't seem like there was enough evidence to the case. And it smelled a little of government manipulations. Even though we all knew Warren was guilty on some level.

Hmmmm.... I wonder if the state of Utah and the state of Arizona will keep him going back and forth between them like a ball on a tennis court. If that happens, he will not get a chance to be free no matter how many times he makes an appeal.

I wonder if the two states have a pact to do exactly that......just kidding.
