Ever loose a friend ?
Why sure you have , there must be thousands of reasons friendship can be lost . Happens all the time . Lets face it we are not all the same and to us what seems important isn't the same for the next guy . Well these differences are bond to come up and if a person tries to avoid these differences their really not much of a friend in some ways .
I think the worst type of a friend is a whatever friend , they kinda accept you as what ever you think is fine by me . Well, that's as weak as friendship comes , what ever this or what ever that , nope nothing really matters cause that's all the effort I'm going to put into our friend ship is really what they are all about . Fair weather kinda people .
Well I dont have any time for what ever people or much respect for that matter . I've found I can have good friends who completely disagree with me , Yeah, I might not agree with them but you have to respect a person who isn't wishy washy even if you think they are wrong .
I kinda think its this respect that kinda acts as gravity after a explosion that that makes a person fall back to earth not far from the friend who exploded as well .
I'm glad we are all different in a lot of ways , if I hung out with only those that felt the same way I did what would I really learn ? Why sure we could go around and pat each other on the back and say how smart we are , but that's about all your going to have , a group of back slappers who dont consider anything else or really test themselves , or even make a stand on something important to them .
Well I want to be tested and challenged , and I want to challenge others . Dose this make my argumentative ? Yup sure dose , But I'd rather be argumentative with something I believe in instead of wishy washy where nothing is important , there's no respect there .
I know I carry it to far at times , but you have to understand in my mind that's better than not carrying it far enough , much better . Its my nature to just over build instead of under build .
Respect is the gravity that brought a friend together , and after the thousands of ways there is to loose a friend there is only one way that will bring these friendships in flux back , respect .
So , with as much respect as I can type out today let me say if I didn't respect a person I wouldn't bother to be as argue-mental as I know I am . If I thought a person to be wishy washy , for me and them that's a waste of time , what ever people always loose cause they are never right .
OK . maybe I need to be less argumentative , perhaps . Maybe its a poor excuse , but I dont feel I'm being negative if its the most positive way for me and others to learn , maybe how I go about it is wrong , but I believe the concept is true and the end result is respect and a more refined friendship worth keeping and worth fighting for , kinda like I'm doing now .

Well Yank, I didn't mean to put you in a funk. I didn't realize I'd come across as a cheap shot. I just don't want to argue over stuff. I get pretty busy with things and I just don't have the time or energy to carry on protracted online exploratory sessions. Takin the kids to the BioShere tomorrow. Scout campin the next two weekends. Kayenta if it gets dried out enough that I can get on Black Mesa without sinking to the hubs. Mt Elden if the snow isn't too deep. Sorry.

Well thanks Cactus , I guess I was in some what of a funk , your post came across as a bleed over from that GW thread and I wasn't sure how you meant to leave things , so not taking a chance I knew how I wasn't going to leave it .
Besides , it gave me a chance to say some things how I felt , over all I've haven't been happy about some things and I wanted to clear the air .
Mt. ELden ? Good luck , I was going to ATV up Navajo MT , but my kinda step kid as guide says it would be best to go up Tsgi canyon to Keet Seel for Easter. Been wanting to go up there anyway , I keep hearing about some cannon about the size a ford rear axle , about 6-7 feet long they say . If true it ain't nothing Kit Carson would drug considering the size . Must be Spanish if anything if at all .
Heck I've been looking for lost Spanish mines since as a kid with my Pop ,
Tell what I have found , I've found it takes a really poor town that cant afford a lost gold mine story---- or two . Later Cactus .
