Full Version: This Aimoo mess
Cactus Jim
Jeez, this Aimoo thing pisses me off. I couldn't even log in as Jim Ashurst for a time and the appearance was all messed up and it wasn't in order any more and all the member info and stuff. I was convinced I had been hacked by some pimply faced polygamist Danite cyber hit man. mad.gif

But then I found I could log in - sometimes, and there were other people who had the same experience. In fact, it kind of sounds like Aimoo has screwed itself something severe. Customers are stampeding for the exit. That's not a good thing for a business. blink.gif

I set out to e-mail everyone I could find an address too. I thought I could use the e-mail feature on Aimoo but I can't do anything on that stupid thing. It's just locked up, probably from frustrated board members trying to get something - ANYTHING out of Aimoo. But I find over the years I've had a lot of e-mail exchanges with this person or that. One I don't have an address for is Lara Avara. Hope she finds her way here.

What makes it really frustrating is, this is time consuming, and I was sitting in Tuba City in a Motel where the customer computer isn't even working. You know, work sure does interfere with things, tongue.gif doesn't it.

By the way, the address to the old Aimoo board, (Lord WHY did they change the URL without telling anyone? mad.gif ) It's forum1.aimoo.com/polygabuse

Did they offer your money back?

Nope. There wasn't that much left anyway. I haven't tried to communicate with them. I figure after this they'll disappear pretty soon. unsure.gif
